Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to enquiries, quotations and orders placed with Sagar Furniture & Enterprises ("we", "us"). Please read them before confirming an order.
1. PRODUCT ENQUIRIES. Product listings, images and descriptions on this website are indicative and are provided to help you describe what you need. They do not constitute an offer for sale. An order exists only once we have issued a written quotation and you have confirmed it.
2. CUSTOMISED FURNITURE. Most of our work is manufactured specifically to your measurements, material and finish. Once manufacturing has begun, a customised item cannot be resold to another customer, and the cancellation terms below apply accordingly.
3. QUOTATIONS. Quotations are valid for the period stated on them. Where no period is stated, a quotation is valid for 15 days. Prices are subject to change if material or hardware costs change, if the specification is changed after approval, or if site conditions differ from those measured. Anything not expressly listed in the quotation — for example counter material, electrical work, plumbing, civil work, chimney or appliances — is excluded.
4. MEASUREMENTS. Final measurements are taken by us at your site before manufacturing. Where you supply measurements yourself and ask us to proceed without a site visit, we manufacture to the measurements you provide and cannot accept responsibility for a resulting fit issue. Site readiness — completed flooring, plaster, and electrical points in agreed positions — is your responsibility.
5. MANUFACTURING. Manufacturing begins only after you approve the design, materials and finish, and after the agreed advance is received. Timelines quoted are estimates in working days and may be affected by material availability, site readiness, changes requested by you, and circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
6. DELIVERY. Delivery is available across Nagpur and, by arrangement, outside it. Delivery charges depend on location and access and are confirmed with the quotation. You are responsible for ensuring safe and adequate access — lift, staircase and doorway — for the items ordered. Where an item cannot be moved in because of access, any re-work or return cost is chargeable.
7. INSTALLATION. Installation is carried out by our team on a scheduled date. Electrical, plumbing, civil and false-ceiling work are not included unless expressly stated. If our team attends and cannot work because the site is not ready, a revisit charge may apply.
8. ADVANCE AND PAYMENT. Orders are confirmed against the advance stated in the quotation. The balance is payable as set out in the quotation, and in any case before or at delivery unless agreed otherwise in writing. Goods remain our property until payment is received in full.
9. CANCELLATION. An order may be cancelled without charge before manufacturing begins, less any material already purchased specifically for it. Once manufacturing has begun, the advance is not refundable, as customised work cannot be resold. Cancellation after completion is not accepted.
10. WARRANTY AND SERVICE. We warrant our workmanship for the period stated on your invoice. Hardware, appliances and fittings carry the warranty of their own manufacturer, which we will pass through to you. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, water damage, damage from misuse, overloading or accident, damage caused by pests, or work altered or repaired by anyone else. Polishing and finishes may age naturally with use and exposure.
11. PRODUCT IMAGES AND DESIGN VARIATIONS. Images on this website and in our catalogues are representative. Natural timber and veneer vary in grain and shade from piece to piece, and screen colours vary between devices; such variation is normal and is not a defect. Minor variation in dimensions and finish within accepted manufacturing tolerance is not a defect. Where a specified material or hardware becomes unavailable, we will inform you and offer an equivalent alternative.
12. GOVERNING LAW. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra.
